Volunteering with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley made a real impact. Second Harvest currently provides nutritious food to over 450,000 people each month, an 80% increase from before the pandemic. Their reach extends to nearly every neighborhood in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, from Daly City to Pescadero and all the way down to Gilroy. Your support truly made a difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you for being part of their mission! 🎉
A big round of applause to our young volunteers, Pramit Angadi, Shashrik Shivayogimath, Nehal Hiremath, Ashna Munavalli, Mohak Gowdru Manjunath, Samhita Hullur, and Aditi Patil, for their incredible work at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley yesterday! Despite facing challenges, they put their hearts into their 'Kayaka' (work) and made a remarkable impact. Their dedication and effort are truly commendable, and we are grateful for their contributions in helping those in need. Thank you for your inspiring commitment! 🎉
Vachana Surabhi is an online class dedicated to guiding young minds aged 5 to 15 years through the enchanting world of Vachana Sahitya, enriched by the wisdom of 12th-century Sharanas. Each session is a holistic experience, commencing with Pranayama to create a serene atmosphere. The class delves into the biographies of the Sharanas, interpreting Vachanas and illustrating ways these profound teachings can be seamlessly woven into the youngsters' daily lives. On January 6th, we were thrilled to witness the joyful reunion of our Vachana Surabhi kids, fostering a sense of community and shared learning. 🎉
